Purchased in 2022, the Boulder Creek upper campus is being renovated from an academy into a center of adventure, restoration, and community. See the timeline and the current progress below.
Summer 2023: Vacation Rental
Renovation of Cedar Chalet (previously Walden Mountain Lodge) completed in August of 2023. The rustic, luxury, three-bedroom, 7-bed cabin rental in Bonners Ferry is ideal for an anniversary getaway or whole family vacation. Whether it's snow shoeing in winter or swimming in summer, book your getaway today to plan an adventure or relax amongst the nature of North Idaho.
Fall & Winter 2023: Timberline Lodge & Kitchen
The Timberline Lodge and kitchen was updated for retreats, weddings, and other events. The upstairs remains open concept and rustic with new paint and updated commercial kitchen. The downstairs was remodeled into four small shared rooms. Technology updated for wireless streaming and projection.
Spring 2024: Trading Post Store
We're passionate about supporting and partnering with local vendors. The Trading Post in the Timberline Lodge is where we envision guests able to purchase anything from local soap to local art to prepared lunches for the day. Spring 2024: White Pines & Tamarack Bunkhouses
With the ability to sleep up to 40 each, the White Pines and Tamarack Bunkhouses are the ideal location for family reunions, retreats, and trainings. Each room in Tamarack is renovated to sleep nine with three twin-bunkbeds and a queen bed, and White Pines arranged for a variety of configurations. Centrally located near the Timberline Lodge, your family can easily access all the campus has to offer.
Summer 2024: Exterior
Many improvements to the decking, exterior painting, and grounds updating are planned for the summer of 2024. We're excited to be adding a pickleball court, new hiking trails, and other updates amongst the remodel.
2025: Sauna, Cold Plunge, and Hot Tub
There's nothing more relaxing than a sauna, but studies continue to shown the incredible health benefits of cold plunges as well for your body and mind. Next winter Boulder Creek plans to remodel the current sauna to include an indoor cold plunge and hot tub area for guests to enjoy the relaxation and health benefits.
