Purchased in 2022, the Boulder Creek upper campus is being renovated from an academy into a center of adventure, restoration, and community. See the timeline and the current progress below.
Summer 2023: Vacation Rental
Renovation of Cedar Chalet (previously Walden Mountain Lodge) completed in August of 2023. The rustic, luxury, three-bedroom, 7-bed cabin rental in Bonners Ferry is ideal for an anniversary getaway or whole family vacation. Fall & Winter 2023: Timberline Lodge & Kitchen
The Timberline Lodge and kitchen is currently being updated for retreats, weddings, and other events. The space will remain open concept and rustic with new paint, carpets, and other renovations for both the dining & conference area upstairs and lodging downstairs.
Spring 2024: Trading Post Store
We're passionate about supporting and partnering with local vendors. The Trading Post in the Timberline Lodge is where we envision guests able to purchase anything from local soap to local art to prepared lunches for the day. Spring 2024: White Pines Bunkhouse
With the ability to sleep up to 50, the White Pines Bunkhouse is the ideal location for family reunions. Each room is being renovated to sleep nine with two twin-bunkbeds, a queen-twin-bunk and a hideabed. Centrally located near the Timberline Lodge, your family can easily access all the campus has to offer.
Summer 2024: Exterior
Many improvements to the decking, exterior painting, and grounds updating are planned for the summer of 2024. We're excited to be adding a pickleball court, frisbee golf, new hiking trails, and other updates amongst the remodel.
Fall 2024: Private Suites
The renovations of Tamarack Lodge from bunks into private suites with each room having the ability to sleep up to 5 will provide a unique opportunity for those looking to balance connection with privacy. Each level will have the option to connect all the suites through a central hallway or keep them private.
Winter 2024: Sauna, Cold Plunge, and Hot Tub
There's nothing more relaxing than a sauna, but studies continue to shown the incredible health benefits of cold plunges as well for your body and mind. Next winter Boulder Creek plans to remodel the current sauna to include an indoor cold plunge and hot tub area for guests to enjoy the relaxation and health benefits.
